Our soaps begin with fresh whey from the production of award-winning Baron Bigod cheese at Fen Farm Dairy in Suffolk. While whey has traditionally been seen as a by-product of cheesemaking, we see it as a naturally nourishing ingredient, rich in skin-loving proteins and minerals.
By giving it a new purpose, we create handcrafted soaps while making full use of a valuable local resource.
Every bar is made by hand in small batches using the traditional cold process method, combining fresh whey with tallow, raw milk and carefully selected plant oils. Fragranced only with pure essential oils, each soap produces a rich,
creamy lather that cleanses gently and leaves skin feeling soft and cared for.
It's a simple approach built on remarkable ingredients, traditional craftsmanship and a genuine respect for doing things properly.
